I have quite a few reggae themed designs available on a wide variety of items, available at: Amazed Creations : Reggae Designs Click on the pictures to see the items available for each design
Here's an older piece I made of Bob Marley, with progression pictures along the way:
So here it is. All the pieces are now cut up (using a scrollsaw) but assembled on a backing board. Took me a couple hours to draw out, and about 8 hours to cut it all up. I then take out pieces and paint them individually, one color at a time, then reassemble them after they dry. It's a slow process, but it works for me, and I don't have to number the pieces, just have to do a bit of a puzzle to keep it assembled. then I just glue it all together, and move on to the next one.
Once it's glued, we get the kitchen table back for a few days....
Prints of this piece and others are available at: Artistrising.com
I'm Dave Danchuk, a Canadian scrollsaw artist, who creates artwork by drawing an interconnected line design on a large piece of wood, plywood or MDF (multi-density fiberboard). I then cut the design in to hundreds of little pieces using my Dewalt scrollsaw. The pieces are then each hand painted using acrylics, then glued to a backing board, and hung on a wall somewhere.
I also have an evergrowing online shirt and merchandise store featuring my artwork as well as various graphic and word designs: www.cafepress.com/amazedcreations
